The basement forms an installations room from where the maintenance of the pools is carried out. Above ground the building does not have any ducts other than the lighting ducts. The hot air is pushed from the basement against the glass, which is collected through the double main walls.
The section of the warehouse does not only correspond to an optimised variable width structure, but also corresponds with the idea of minimising the volume of air to be processed, at the same time as ensuring the natural ventilation of the area. In summer, all of the windows are folded back from their high point, and are motorised, which provides for the cross ventilation from the ground to the roof.
